Favorite Teams

• Team names you manually save to your favorites list

• Stored locally on your device only
• Used to filter competition schedules for your teams
• Helps you quickly find your team's performance times

Important:

• Team data never leaves your device
• Not shared with our servers or third parties
• Deleted when you remove teams or uninstall the app

API Usage Data

What we collect:

• Anonymous API requests (competition searches, schedule views)
• No personally identifiable information

How we use it:

• To improve app performance
• To monitor API health and errors
• To understand which features are most used

Account Information

What we may collect:

• Your name, email, or phone number (if you create an account)

Local Storage

• Favorite teams stored on your device using UserDefaults

• No remote backups of your personal data

Security Measures

• All API communication uses HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text
• Account data is protected with industry-standard security practices
• Minimal data collection reduces security risks

6. Children's Privacy

CheerSchedule does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent/guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us to request deletion.

The app is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Delete: Uninstall the app to remove all local data

8. Data Retention

• Favorite teams: Stored until you delete them or uninstall the app
• Cached schedules: Automatically expire after 15 minutes
• API logs: Retained for 30 days for debugging, then deleted

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
